Most bathroom failures, the damp patches, the mould, the ceiling below, come from inadequate waterproofing rather than the finish on top. We tank the room properly, screed it, and apply the finish ourselves so there is one company and one guarantee.
The finish
Skimping on the membrane under your tiles or microcement always costs more later than doing it properly now.
Waterproofing is the unglamorous part of the job and the one we take most seriously. We prepare the substrate, apply a liquid or sheet tanking membrane with sealed corners and upstands, build the falls in the screed, and only then apply the microcement or resin finish on top. Because we do all three stages, nothing falls between trades and the guarantee covers the whole system.

Yes, as long as we can inspect the substrate. If it has already been tiled we may need to take that back.
Yes. Many tilers rely on grout to keep water out, which it does not. We tank the room first, then you tile or we apply microcement.
