Common questions

What’s the difference between standard plastering and Venetian plaster?
Standard plastering creates a flat, smooth base for paint. Venetian plaster is a decorative, multi-layer finish in its own right — burnished by hand to create depth, texture and a soft sheen.
Can it go over painted walls?
In most cases, yes, provided the existing surface is sound. We’ll assess this during your site visit.
How long does a feature wall take?
A single feature wall is typically finished within a day or two, including drying time between layers.
What colours are available?
Venetian and polished plaster can be finished in virtually any colour, from soft neutrals to deep, saturated tones.
